Taking the Eco-Friendly Approach to Landscape Design

We do more than just design landscapes for curb appeal. We offer so much more! Like rainwater harvesting systems, edible landscapes, grazing pastures, native gardens, composting systems, lighting designs, vegetable gardens, pollinator gardens, and hardscape designs. 

Every project is unique; you may need all the above done or just a rainwater harvesting system designed. Either way, we are here to serve you and the earth! 

My landscape design approach prioritizes ecological sensitivity and sustainability. Native plant communities form the core of my designs, recognizing their vital role in supporting local ecosystems. However, I also appreciate the aesthetics and ecological contributions of non-invasive naturalized plants, which can add a touch of wildness and resilience to the landscape. 

Permeable hardscapes are integral to my designs, ensuring proper water management and minimizing environmental impact especially in urban environments. 

My plant selection process extends beyond the basic considerations of sun and water, delving into the specific soil composition and ecological dynamics of each site. I take a meticulous approach to design, carefully selecting each plant for its aesthetics and functional contribution to the overall ecosystem. The goal is to create a landscape that is stunning and sustainable! 

Our morals are simple;

• We will never include invasive plant species in any of our designs. 
• We are not doing this work for cash flow - so in other words, we will never rush through a project or take on a project that doesn't match our values.

• To guide and provide the land/property owner with resources and knowledge needed to better manage the land, so you too can be a good steward of the earth.

One of the permaculture principles is to "observe and interact". Observation is key to designing a landscape that's truly sustainable. When we observe the land - we get information that can be useful to create better, more efficient, and abundant designs for living. 

A lot of our time designing a landscape goes towards observation and site analysis.
